It's true - mindset training is the hottest topic in sports these days.
But aside from simple visualization techniques, or apps that help you relax, what tools can modern sports coaches offer to truly develop and strengthen their athletes' mental skills in a consistent and repeatable way?
Athletes and coaches alike get caught in the mental training paradox: any good coach knows an athlete's mind has to be trained just as much as their body, in order to reach optimal performance and sustain it.
But what does that even mean?
Not many coaches really know how to help their athletes develop mindset skills. And if they do, most don't know how to do it systematically.
Why?
In working with world-class athletes for the past two decades, we've narrowed it down to four primary reasons:
1) No solid framework for sharing mindset skills, which need to be as precisely delivered as physical training.
2) A perceived lack of time to teach mindset skills.
3) Just a general lack of know-how about what mindset skills development is and how you deliver it.
4) Fear from inexperience - if you as a coach don't really understand mindset skills, you'll tend to lean on what you know which can hold your athlete back from achieving their full potential.
So we set out to circumvent the mental training paradox and create a mindset program for athletes that avoids the paradox entirely.
And in the process, we've developed a holistic approach that doesn't just add the pillars of peak athletic performance (nutrition, mindset, strength, recovery and performance) on top of athletic activities...
...it actually integrates them into it.
It's a completely new approach to athletic training and it's having breakthrough results throughout the world of sports.
